Pastor Echoes — operated by Unbalanced Force Dynamics, LLC · Version 1.0 · pending final review

The short version: if you're a church member watching the public page, you are anonymous. We don't ask who you are, we don't make you log in, and we don't track or profile you. You only become known to your church if you choose to ask a pastor to reach out.
This policy is a current working version pending final legal review. Questions: support@koinoniacloud.com.

1. Who we are

Pastor Echoes is operated by Unbalanced Force Dynamics, LLC ("UF," "we"). This policy explains what information the Service does and does not handle, for both church members ("Members") and church pastors/staff ("Authorized Users").

2. Members are anonymous by design

The public Valley of Echoes is built to require no Member identity:

3. What is collected on the member side

4. Authorized Users (pastors & staff)

Pastors and staff sign in with Google; we do not create or store passwords. For Authorized Users we hold a name, email, role, and church association to operate their account, plus a session cookie to keep them signed in. Per-pastor research and planning workspaces are private to that pastor.

5. Cookies & local storage

6. Sermon content and how it's processed

The Service processes a church's publicly available sermon library to produce transcripts, summaries, search indices, and clips ("Derived Data" — see the Terms of Service). This involves automated/AI processing. Sermon content is public preaching; this policy concerns personal information, of which the member experience collects essentially none.

7. Service providers

We use a small set of providers to run the Service, for example: YouTube (the source of public sermon content), Google (staff sign-in), cloud hosting and AI processing for the corpus, and a payment processor for church billing (not Members). These providers handle data only to provide their function.

8. Children's privacy

The Service is directed to churches and general audiences, not to children, and the member experience collects no personal information from anyone — there are no member accounts. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. How information is shared

We do not sell personal information. A church sees its own aggregate, anonymous engagement and any voluntary "reach out" requests its Members submit. Each church's content and data are isolated from other churches.

10. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect information, including encrypted connections and per-church data isolation. No system is perfectly secure, but the member-facing design minimizes risk by collecting almost no personal data in the first place.

11. Data retention

Aggregate engagement counts and Derived Data are retained as part of the Service. Device-local favorites live only on your device. Voluntary reach-out requests are delivered to and retained by the church you contacted.

13. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the version and date above.
